IMPORTANTTo ignite successfully,please follow the instruction as below
1.Screw out the striker anti clockwise and refill with oil.(DO NOT OVER FILL OIL.To test the optimum oil level,upside down the lighter and the oil won’t leak easily.)
2.Put the end of striker at 45 angle with the magnesium bar.
3.Apply pressure and scrape downwards along the steel rod.
4.Ignite.Note:Oil is not included due to air mail regulation,please refill with oil before first using.When to replace wick?Do not keep burning the cotton core for more than 10 seconds each time. When the wick is burned to red and become short, the wick can’t absorb enough fluid so it will be difficult to ignite.
Please follow the steps as below to extend or change the wick:
1. Pull the steel scraper out by pliers.
2. Slowly pull the wick out and please change the wick if it’s too short to wrap the scraper.
3. Put the scraper back to the middle of the wick, and then lightly hammer it back to the pipe.
4. The exposed part of the wick should be at least half of the length of the exposed scraper.
