STAND AND FILTER

PURTREK gives the user the unique opportunity above its competitors to stand and filter water and hydrate immediately. No more removing all of your gear and unpacking and assembling complex filtration systems. To use PURTREK, insert the pole in the water source, attach the drinking tube, then release and pump handle. In a few pumps, enjoy fresh filtered water in ample amounts. You can drink directly from the tube or fill a container or hydration bladder. When finished, remove the drinking tube and turn the pole upside down and pump out any extra water.

HOLLOW FIBER FILTER

PURTREK’s two-stage inline micro-filtration system includes a protected and cleanable large particulate pre-filter located at the lower inlet. The high-flow Micro Filter was carefully created for PURTREK. This uses a reliable hollow fiber media that removes 99.9999% of impurities.

TREK POLE

Purtrek offers the trekking poles as a set, one pole with the integrated water filtration system and one standard trekking pole, weighted to match the filtration pole. Both poles’ telescoping shafts are made of 7075 aircraft aluminum with aluminum locking tabs and high-strength polymer plastic collars. The filtration pole uses a series of seals, valves, and O-rings to ensure clean drinking water. Both poles are adjustable up to 53″ (135cm), 36” (91.44cm) collapsed everyday storage, and the main pole is fully collapsible down to only 26″ (66cm) for convenient international travel.
