Yes, the cloud up 1 Person Tent comes with a ground sheet (footprint), and the footprint is perfect for the Cloud up 1 Person Tent, it works pretty well.

Is the naturehike cloud-up 1p tent really freestanding?

Yes , it does support itself effectively. The vestibule needs to be pegged out at the front to be effective, you could use a weight on each corner in a pinch though, and the tent sits better when the four corners of the floor are pegged out.

Can it be pitched with just the fly?

Yes, the tent fly and inner tent can be used separately.

Is this good for winter in snow?

No, this cloud up 1 person tent is a 3 season backpacking tent without snow skirt.
