The kuksa, known as “guksi” in Sami and “ksa” in Swedish, is a wooden cup that originated from the nomadic Sami people of Northern Europe. Its most distinctive feature is its ability to be carried around the waist or on a backpack.

Original kuksa wooden cups are now very difficult to find, and birch rhizomes are quite expensive.
