In an emergency, first responders pull at the red arrow to release the wristband from the car seat.

ROTH ID TAG has a nationwide initiative to train first responders to look for emergency contacts on car seats. We’ve partnered with 1000+ agencies across all 50 United States to expand our training efforts and have hundreds of thousands of first responders trained coast-to-coast.

The ROTH ID TAG was created after tragedy struck our own family.

On December 23, 2022, Julie Roth and her baby, Edna Rose, tragically lost their lives in a 47-car pile-up on the Ohio Turnpike. Her two toddlers, Ayla and Rory, survived but waited hours-injured

and scared-before being identified and reunited with their father. Inspired by this tragedy, the ROTH ID TAG was created to keep families connected during emergencies.

Collaborating with first responders, medical professionals, and parents, we’ve developed a compliant, accessible product. We remain grateful to those who cared for Ayla and Rory and are dedicated to easing the trauma of emergencies for children and caregivers.
