Exotac was founded by a Purdue Engineering graduate with a passion for all things earth and man-made. We are a family-owned small business based just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Melding a penchant for sleek, sexy and functional design with a dedication to creating the highest-quality outdoor products, we aim to stay true to our roots by keeping engineering at the core of our business.

We learn by getting out there in the great outdoors, getting dirty, trying, failing, persisting, and surviving. We learn from our own experiences, as well as others’, how to make products better and easier to use so that they work when it counts the most.

American manufacturing is the core of our business. We’ve worked relentlessly to become vertically integrated so nearly every step of the manufacturing process now happens in our factory, under the watchful eyes of the engineers who designed and tested every feature. If a problem arises, we can correct it on the spot, ensuring the highest quality along with a nimble product development cycle.

STRIKE ANYWHERE: Utilized as both a waterproof container to hold your matches and as a fire striker in emergencies. Light any fire, candle, grill, kitchen stove, or butane torch with the starter you choose to carry in your MATCHCAP XL.
AMPLE SPACE: MATCHCAP XL can fit matches or other tactical supplies up to 2.9-inches long. Outdoor gear such as the ever-popular Stormproof Match, as well as your basic kitchen matches, will have room to fit for any adventure.
ESSENTIAL FOR OUTDOORS: This compact and waterproof design allows users to carry the emergency equipment they need at all times. Build campfires, pack on military trips, or attach to your keychain.
HIGH-PERFORMANCE MATERIALS: Exotac’s MATCHCAP XL is CNC machined, in-house from a USA high-grade 6061 anodized aluminum body for rugged protection and durability. It sports a sleek case design that is both portable and cool.
