Ever Ready First Aid Vented Chest Seal – Occlusive Adhesive Dressing for Open Chest Wounds

LATEX FREE 4-VENT DESIGN

Vented Chest seals should be used when an open chest injury occurs. Chest seals work by closing the chest wall opening to keep collapsed lungs inflated. The 4-vent design is self-regulating to allow for the release of accumulated air or evacuation of blood, and is effective in preventing the re-entry of air and debris through the open chest wound.

MEDICAL GRADE HYDROGEL ADHESIVE

Creates a superior lasting seal, even in extreme cold and heat. The chest seal has transparent backing to allow for placement directly over the wound and easily conform to the patient’s chest. The adhesive ensures a strong seal even when blood, sweat, hair, sand and water are present. Clean and dry the area around the wound as much as possible before applying the chest seal.

LARGE RED TAB-ONE STEP APPLICATION

Simply hold the seal by the red tab, peel away the protective plastic film and apply over the open wound for fast and effective results. Each seal is approximately 6.6” square and has a large 1.25” tab for easy application and removal
