Is this beanie really waterproof or just water-resistant?

DexShell beanie is fully waterproof, not just water-repellent. A Porelle waterproof and breathable membrane is laminated to the inner fleece liner, blocking snow and wind when you go outdoor in winter.

Is it breathable, or does it make your head sweaty?

The Porelle membrane offers high breathability (approx. 15,000 g / m² / day). It allows sweat vapour to escape while keeping water out, so you stay dry inside and out, even during active use.

How should I wash or care to keep it waterproof?

Hand wash with standard detergent and drip dry. Do not bleach or wring out. Keep away from radiators, fireplaces, or any direct heat sources to protect the waterproof membrane.

Is it suitable for outdoor activities like hiking or cycling?

Absolutely. DexShell waterproof beanies are ideal for hiking, running, cycling, fishing, dog-walking, and commuting – anywhere you face unpredictable weather.

What size is it, and will it fit under a hood or helmet?

Fits most adults (56-58 cm). Comfortable stretch for daily wear and under hoods, but not meant to fit under helmets.
