Why We Created the A4

After knee surgery, my daughter gifted me a folding cane. It was super convenient – it folded up in a Z-shape and helped me get through a lot of tough days. But one day, it came loose when caught on a tree root, causing a fall. That moment sparked a realization: canes need both convenience and safety.

Inspired by automatic umbrellas’ quick-collapse design, I created the WLKPAL A4 –- a 4 section cane with 4 height settings and secure locking mechanisms.

In 2023, we enhanced it based on user feedback:
