Why are Your Socks Made in China?

We have tried for 3 years to find a US partner. The reality: no US factory currently has the machinery to knit complex toe socks at our quality standard. We manufacture overseas because they are the ones who can do it right, not to cut costs.

Who designs the socks?

We do! We are a small American team based in CO, TN, and WY. We design, field-test, and inspect every batch ourselves. Nothing ships until it meets our standard.

Why Not Make the Socks Yourself?

We’d like to! Knitting machines cost $100-200k each … a little too expensive for our tiny team right now:)

How should my toe socks fit?

Snug, like a second skin. If tight initially, don’t worry—merino contracts as it dries. Within minutes, they relax and conform to your unique foot shape perfectly.

How do I wash them?

Machine wash gentle (cold). Turn inside out to reduce pilling and skip fabric softeners. We recommend air drying to maintain shape and longevity for the long haul.

Do I need special shoes?

No! You don’t need “toe shoes.” Our socks are designed to fit comfortably inside standard hiking boots, runners, and sneakers—preventing blisters on every adventure.
