This cable actually performs noticeably better than the RG8X spec (see photo). For example, at 400 MHz you’d expect a loss of around 6.6 dB/100 ft, but I measured more like 5.5. Even at 1 Ghz, where you’d expect 11.2 dB/100 ft, I measured around 9. This is closer to (but not quite) LMR240 performance than RG8X.
