How to Install Reiwour Wired GPS Tracker with Ignition Cutoff?

Our hard wired gps tracker can provide remote ignition-kill function. When needed, you can send a disable engine command from the APP. To accomplish this function, an automotive relay is Required. You can choose whether to install the relay according to your own needs.

Please note different vehicles need relays with different working voltage (12v/24v),so we do not provide relays in the package by default.

Automotive relay is a standard industrial product. You can easily find it on Amazon by searching for automotive relay. When purchasing, please note that the working voltage of the relay must match the voltage of your vehicle.

1. Locate the vehicle starter wire or oil pump circuit wire and cut it, and connect pins 87a and 30 of the relay to the cut ends.

2. Connect relay pin 85 to the vehicle’s constant power source, and connect pin 86 to the yellow wire of the GPS tracker.

3. Connect the red wire on the GPS tracker to vehicle’s constant power source, and the black wire on the GPS tracker to ground.

4. The orange wire is used to connect the vehicle’s ACC.

5. Start the vehicle and issue relevant commands through the APP for testing.

To make sure the security of vehicle,wired gps tracker for vehicles can only indicate to cut off oil when GPS is in valid position status, and the speed is less than 20km/h.

The vehicle’s ACC, also referred to as the “Accessory wire.” so that you can remotely see the engine status (ON or OFF) through the APP. In addition, by sensing the status of the engine, the device can reduce the update frequency when the engine is turned off, thereby reducing power consumption. In fact, this ACC wire can also be used to detect the status of certain circuits on the vehicle.
