Q: Why is the actual power output of my 120 watt solar panel portable is lower than 120W in practical use? or charging slowly?

Since solar panels convert sunlight to electricity, how much sunlight gets to your panel has a direct effect on its production. The sunshine is not always perfect. And there is also clouds/shade, the angle of the panel to the sun, high temperature, dust and aging that affect the output of your solar panels. You could try placing your panel to face the sun more directly, keeping the solar panel clean to get the best results.

Q: How should my solar panels be positioned?

Avoid the shade, even sporadic shade from tree cover, and try to get the panels facing the sun as broadly as possible by using the kickstands to find the right angle. If you’re trying to get as much sun as possible, shift the panels every half hour or so to keep them sunward. If you don’t want to give them that much attention, place them facing due south if you’re in the Northern Hemisphere and due north if you’re in the Southern, which will provide the best coverage throughout the day.

Q: What should I do if I receive this solar panel and find that it is not compatible with my portable power station?
